Description
Looking for that perfect video to accompany your performance of Eric Whitacre's wild and whimsical score "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas"? Look no further! Ion Concert Media offers this film which matches the music in its fun and off-kilter approach. The film follows the composer's scripted narrative as found in the printed score. Suggested stage directions are available through Ion Concert media; please not that the film requires the use of foam or plastic balls to be thrown at the monster by the audience. The composer's intent was to allow the performing ensemble to be highly creative in personalizing their performance through film, actors, props, and more. We support and encourage a creative hands-on approach to designing your production and invite you to use this film and related documents as a starting place rather than a finished production concept.
This film was commissioned by Betsy McCann and the University of Minnesota University Band.
