ION TEAM

Scott Winters
Scott is an accomplished conductor, music educator, businessman, and filmmaker. His journey to Ion Concert Media began with the founding of a non-profit music school, Minnesota River Valley Academy of Music, which he went on to develop into a large community arts center in Burnsville, MN. Scott also has served as the Director of Instrumental Music at Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, MN) and as Music Director of the Minnetonka Civic Orchestra.
He invented Muséik’s sync technology in 2013 as away to avoid using click tracks and other bothersome synchronizing methods in his conducting gigs. As CEO and founder of ICM he has been able to travel the world, helping develop digital content and seamless syncs for clients big and small. He is passionate about the future of concert multimedia and his work developing synchronizing technologies that allow for free artistic expression on stage.

Aarush Bothra
Aarush is the "keeper of the code" for the Muséik platform. He came to Ion as an intern and has since signed on to be a permanent part of the ICM team. His leadership and skill in programming have made Aarush an invaluable asset for Ion and is credited with keeping Muséik running smoothly. Most recently, Aarush successfully updated the software to allow for replaceable files!
Aarush is currently completing dual doctoral degrees in computer science and music at the University of Minnesota. He is a creative individual who loves to pursue projects that come with a challenge.
On top of everything else, Aarush is one of Ion’s content partners (check out his score for the film "Spring" on our website).

Erin Paul
Erin works behind the scenes for Ion Concert Media as the “jack of all trades”. She does a little bit of everything - from managing orders to animating scores for Muséik’s sync technology.
She boasts that she was there for Ion’s humble beginnings as Muséik’s first test was at her high school choir concert.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Education and taught middle and high school English/Language Arts for seven years. Currently perusing her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Erin is also working as an intern at the Scott County Mental Health Center in Minnesota.

Harrison J. Collins
Harrison J. Collins is a composer known for their astonishingly unique and compelling musical voice. Since he began composing at the age of 13, his works have been performed on national and international stages such as the Midwest Clinic, College Band Directors National Association, and Texas Music Educators Association.
Additionally, their work is featured on numerous state lists, marking it as high-quality repertoire for student musicians across the country.
Harrison is an engraver for Ion Concert Media, using their musical knowledge and engraving skills to prepare the musical “maps” utilized by Muséik operators.

Nick Gaudette
Nick joined the ICM team in June 2025, bringing his knowledge and experience in the industry to our marketing team. He understands the real-world needs of today's performers, directors, and educators; providing invaluable insight into both individual artist needs and institutional technology challenges. As a dynamic music industry professional, Nick brings a unique blend of performance expertise and educational leadership to the music technology space.
As a Grammy Music Educator Quarter Finalist, Minnesota Music Educators Association Wall of Honor Inductee, and Minnesota Teacher of the Year candidate, his educational excellence is widely recognized.
Nick's dual perspective as both a working musician and acclaimed educational orchestra director will continue to help Ion connect and respond to the needs of our wide-range of musicians and performers we serve.

John Jerney
John is an avid double bassist, pianist and programmer. He is currently in high school and is undergoing an internship here at Ion Concert Media. He is working mostly in testing as well as tech tasks around the office.
Outside of work and school, he loves to attend the Minnesota State Fair (particularly the Gizmo stand), study math, and make music.

Standing on the backs of giants

In the 1800's German composer Richard Wagner developed what he called "Gesamptkunstwerke", or the total art work. He used music, drama, staging and effects to create magical audience experiences.
In the 1900's Walt Disney founded the Imagineers, a group of creative individuals that brought us classic animated films, theme parks, and "Fantasia."
The new century is here. Entertainment has a renewed focus on live events. And today we have technical abilities only dreamt of in the past.
At Ion Concert Media we are proud to be helping - in our small way - to carry the torch forward. What will the future say about the visionaries of today? Together we can write that story.
