Background
Over the years we have received many requests from customers seeking pre-designed concert programs that use our multimedia products. We also recognize that often school ensembles need a bit of help in promoting their concerts and developing a unified and branded visual concept for their shows. With this project we aim to deliver on both of these topics.

The program is being designed as a 25- or 50- minute concert cor concert bands at around the Grade 4 level that will celebrate the history of animation. Exact works are still being finalized but include:
• Looney Tunes Overture ( arr. Holcombe)
• Steamboat Willie (arr. Collins)
• Superman (arr. Lowden)
• Animation (Standridge)
• and more!
The show is designed as either a 25-minute half program of a full-length 50 minute program. Both versions will include all show elements described above and both will use the classic 1928 Disney cartoon "Steamboat Willie" as the anchor work.
The show will be ready for a January 2027 premiere. Pre-Sale programming exclusivity will extend through August, 2027.
Since we are not really creating a new work of art this is not a commissioning consortium. However, there are significant costs involved with the production of this show. We hope to use a pre-sale model to fund that required production work.
The Loft help create a 20 minute themed program
for the Blaine (MN) High School Wind Ensemble

One of the biggest production pieces is the development of the Steamboat Willie cartoon for live concert screenings. The Loft has announced a commissioning consortium for that specific project. You can find information on the consortium on this page.
Please note your involvement in this pre-sale project is being treated exactly as if you had joined the Steamboat Willie consortium. You and your ensemble will receive the same credtis and recognition as the rest of the consortium members.
The show will include a complete professionally designed marketing package that includes:

All marketing materials will use branding elements that tie into the graphics and design elements used in the show itself, giving your program professional and consistent messaging throughout the production.
A central piece of the program design will be an entertaining and informative narration that will tell the story of animation and introduce each piece. The show will come with a professional studio recording of the narrator's part, but ensembles are welcome to use a live narrator if they desire.
Each narration will be accompanied by projected clips and stills that help tell the story of how animation has developed.
