Katahj Copley’s DOPE is a celebration of Black identity and musical tradition, “a gumbo of all the music that inspires and influences me from Thundercat to Kendrick Lamar to Miles Davis to Hiatus Kaiyote and more”. Copley’s music is paired with a synchronized film by Michael Silva Bryant that shows the journey of a young African American artist growing and attaining his dreams. Audiences will love this inspiring tribute to Black history.
