Description
Neil Armstrong’s historic walk on the moon took place over 50 years ago. Michael Story’s dramatic band score is a celebration of America’s space program in the 1960’s and Ion’s film accompaniment reinforces that theme with visually stunning images from the NASA archives. The film takes us from the Freedom 7 mission and JFK’s historic speech though the Apollo 1 tragedy and on to Armstrong’s triumphant moon walk. Authentic NASA audio is included with the film file and may be used in performance as an available option.
