“The Rink” was the eighth of Chaplin’s twelve films created for the Mutual Film Corporation. Chaplin plays a waiter who gets himself into awkward situations during his shift. Easily the most well-known segment of the film comes when Chaplin’s character decides to go roller skating during his lunch break. Score by Robert Israel.
