One Week is the first film Buster Keaton made on his own, having worked with Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle on a number of films previously. The plot of the film involves a newlywed couple who receive a “build-it-yourself” home as a wedding gift. A failed suitor mixes up the instructions and for the rest of the film Keaton’s character attempts to assemble the house according to the erroneous plans. With a score by composer Robert Israel, this film is non-stop fun and will be received very well by audiences of all ages.
